Our club activities are attractive and shall increasingly attract children and the youth in the future.
- The German Canadian Football Club was founded in 1934 to provide a sport for new immigrants to Canada wishing to play the "beautiful game". Our 5 clay courts are available to the public. We operate 7 days a week from May til the end of September. Joe Rosell the international pro offers varies programs to beginners, advanced player, youth and adults. We also have social nights. - The Skat Group was founded in 1934. At this time there are only 12 members, who play Skat every first Friday of the month. The group would be happy to welcome new members. Contact: Guenter Wulff at badwulff@rogers.com
- The Seniors Group is a subgroup of the German-Canadian-Club. Everybody who enjoys German tradition, singing, music, coffee, cake and German "Gemuetlichkeit" is welcome. Our group enjoys activities 12 month of the year and we offer you: "Kaffeeklatsch" with a live band, Bingo(coffee, cake, live band) monthly, handicraft hour twice a month, Picnic , Mothers Day, Fathers Day celebration and the highlight Christmas dinner and entertainment. - The Lyra Choir was founded in 1953 We are a mixed choir and have 40 active choir members. Our choir sings under the direction of Professor emeritus Alvin Reimer. We are not professionals; our bond is the love of singing. We offer enjoyable evenings, a better knowledge of music and an improvement of the voice. We give concerts in our club and in the community. We have concert tours in Canada and abroad. We meet every Monday at 20:00 hrs at the German-Canadian Club for choir rehearsal. Would you like to join us? Please call Hans J. - The Bowling Club is in need of committed 5 pin bowlers, both men and women, for next season starting in September 2011. We are bowling approximately 35 games per season. The bowling takes place on Monday evenings from 7 - 9 at the Bowlarama Lanes on Thompson Road in London.
